Saba Marzbadi
Violin
I am a passionate and versatile performer with a strong foundation in classical music and a love for exploring a wide range of musical genres, including Persian, ethnic, and jazz styles. I graduated from the Claude Watson Arts Program at Earl Haig Secondary School and received my Associate Diploma (ARCT) from the Royal Conservatory of Music in 2020. Currently, I am a member of Orchestra Toronto and have also performed with the Canadian Golha Orchestra. From 2016 to 2022, I had the privilege of serving as concertmaster with the Sarv Strings Orchestra. My orchestral experience has taken me across Toronto’s diverse music scene, where I have participated in numerous performances and outreach concerts designed to make music more accessible to the community. As a violin soloist, I was awarded gold at the Unionville Music Competition in both 2017 and 2018. In addition to performing, I am a dedicated violin teacher, committed to nurturing the technical and musical growth of my students. I bring my wide-ranging performance background into my teaching, encouraging creativity, discipline, and a deep appreciation for music in all its forms. Whether on stage or in the studio, I am driven by the belief that music is a beautiful gift meant to be shared, and I strive to connect with others through my artistry.
